Calculations run on your device. Here is what is saved locally, what a shared link contains, and how to remove saved data.
Saved only in this browser
Language, holiday regions, chosen time zones, calendar and PDF settings, personal events, your logo, custom non-working dates and pinned calculations are stored in browser local storage. They do not sync between devices. The site uses no accounts or database for your calculations.
What travels in a link?
Calculator links contain the dates, numbers and rules in the address. Anyone with the link can read them. Calendar links contain selected dates and public settings, but not your personal events or logo. Print-setup links can also contain titles, subtitles and family column names when you explicitly choose to include them. Custom non-working dates are included only when you explicitly choose that option before copying a share link from the business-day planner.
Pinned calculations
A pin is stored on this device and can contain custom non-working dates. Its link contains only a local identifier and will not restore the calculation on another device. Use Share link to share a calculation. Remove individual pins or all pins from the homepage or tool directory.
Network requests and measurement
The app sends no analytics, event names, search text or calculations to a measurement service. It sets no tracking cookies. Opening a page or shared link sends its URL and normal connection information to the hosting provider. Hosting-provider request logging settings are separate from the app’s local calculations. Your browser may also retain addresses in its history.
Exports and backups
PDFs and JSON backups are created on your device. They may contain personal events, notes or your logo. Treat these files as your own documents when saving or sharing them. Imported images and JSON files are processed locally.
You control saved data
Clear custom dates in the business-day planner, remove events in Calendar, or remove pins in the directory. You can also delete all of this site’s local data below. Download a calendar backup first if you want to keep it. Deletion does not remove downloaded files, browser history or copies of links you have already shared.

Holiday rules, history & sources
Dates use the Gregorian calendar extended to years 0001–9999. Before 1995, these are rule projections, not a verified historical holiday calendar. Earlier Julian calendars and Sweden’s calendar transitions are not reconstructed. UK published dates cover 2019–2028, including one-off holidays; outside that window UK dates are recurring-rule projections without exceptional holidays. Future projections assume the laws remain unchanged; published UK years take precedence.
Known changes included: Norway’s 1 and 17 May from 1947; Denmark’s Store bededag from 1686 through 2023; Sweden’s National Day replaces Whit Monday from 2005. Other pre-1995 rules are projected. Sundays are shown as weekends; the holiday list names specific holidays. Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Swedish Midsummer Eve and Danish Constitution Day are not counted as national public holidays. Denmark covers Denmark proper, not Greenland or the Faroe Islands.
Working days mean Monday–Friday minus distinct public-holiday dates. Weekends are not deducted twice. UK bank holidays use their published or calculated substitute weekdays; Nordic holidays are not shifted to Monday. Employment agreements can provide other days off.
