The clocks change on different Sundays
In 2026, the UK moves clocks forward on 29 March and back on 25 October. New York changes on 8 March and 1 November. London is usually five hours ahead; between the spring changes and between the autumn changes, the gap is four hours. Use the exact date and time on a changeover day.
